- COI synopsis: One hundred and fifty years ago, London’s most gracious shopping boulevard, Regent Street, was created. It was purpose built for the smart set - and today, still preserves a distinguished charm and an exclusive range of merchandise which attracts buyers from all over the world. The Regent Street traders decided that their anniversary should be marked - and Mandy Cuthbert went along to join in the celebrations and to look at some of the shops which make the street famous.
