Summary
COI synopsis: A new service has come to Britain - the flying ambulance. It’s an air-and-ambulance service that transports patients taken ill abroad back to their local hospital in the UK. The idea came about from the successful Australian scheme and has been adapted to our needs. Penny Croucher follows the trip of one patient to see how the whole operation works.
