Summary
COI synopsis: For the first time since 1948, when Freddie Mills was king, Britain has a new Light Heavyweight Champion of the world in Liverpool-born John Conteh. Penny Croucher spent a strenuous day with the new champ as he prepares for his next title defence and discovered just what a rigorous training schedule really means.
