- Summary
- COI synopsis: Intrigued by the problem of serving water to the population of one of the world’s largest cities, visiting Iranian broadcaster Hussein Darabaghi, studies the story of London’s Metropolitan Water Board, which was created in 1902. He learns about the sources of supply and the processes of purification through which water passes. As the film shows, London’s water supply is a municipal responsibility undertaken by administrators, scientists and engineers whose close collaboration results in a remarkable feat of organization.
