Summary
COI synopsis: One of England’s longest traditions is that of fishing the oceans for food, and most particularly, the fishing of her own coastal waters, in the smaller products of her famous boat building skill. Mike Parker, who works single handed as a fisherman on the South Coast, is awarded a government grant for a new boat. It is build in a small yard where the oldest crafts and skills are still applied, from the careful selection of English oak, with which the boat’s foundations are built to the fitting of its engine and final launching.
