- History
- Looking At Britain was a series of black and white films produced by the Central Office of Information (COI) on behalf of the Colonial Office. The films were made by Kinocrat Films Ltd, Max Munden Productions and Impact Telefilms. Each 13-minute film dealt with a single aspect of life in Britain including a comprehensive school, Royal Windsor and the world of a New Town housewife. Although the films were primarily designed for distribution in Africa, there is evidence, from the music licenses, that they were also destined for countries such as Australia.
