- COI synopsis: Tests and trials for British cars are a vital stage in their manufacture, and the film shows some of the exhaustive tests which standard models must undergo. International rallies and races provide ready-made endurance runs for standard models, while at the research and test centre of the Motor Industry Research Association in Britain, extreme climatic and surface conditions are reproduced for ruthless testing of cars, trucks and buses.
