- Summary
- COI synopsis: On certain days of the year, the streets of metropolitan London become strangely deserted. This happens on the four Bank Holidays when everyone takes a day off from the routine of daily life to enjoy an outing away from the home with family and friends. To the music of an accordion, the film follows the progress of a typical Bank Holiday from the early morning rush to get out of town, through a day devoted to pleasure and ‘all the fun of the fair’.
