Summary
COI synopsis: An account of polling day procedure at Epping, England, during a parliamentary election. After a brief opening sequence on electioneering activities, it shows how notes are cast, how party committee workers play their part, and how the ballot boxes are collected, the votes counted under conditions of strict scrutiny, and the result announced by the Town Clerk. (Although the commentary does not say so, the film was shot during the 1959 General Election.)
