Summary
COI synopsis: London has long been a centre for printing and publishing. Now, however, the technical resources of this industry extend to the more specilised field of Arab publications. Magazines have been founded here to meet the growing needs of Arab countries and we show how Arab publishers are fulfilling their requirements; magazines in Arabic for readers at home and in Britain, Arab publications in English for the English reading world. A fruitful partnership emerges between Arab calligraphers and British printers to ensure a product which meets the highest standards anywhere in the world.
Researcher Comments
According to the shooting script, contributors include Mr Afif Ben Yeder who launches two such magazines: ‘The Middle East’ and ‘Arab Business’
