- COI synopsis: The business of medicine is not only to cure disease but to prevent it. We show how the battle for health is waged through the World Health Organisation, through medical scientists, particularly from the School of Tropical Medicine in Britain, and in the front line in Africa and elsewhere. It is a hard fought battle and a successful one.
