- Summary
- COI synopsis: George Stephenson and Logie Baird are just two of a sterling breed of men who love inventing things: the British. Whether it’s in a tiny shed at the bottom of the garden or in a large established firm, the British inventor treads boldly where no man has trod before. Engineer Geoff Smith runs a famous car conversion business. His latest creation, using the principle of eight wheel drive, is a lightweight, yet stable vehicle that can cope with any terrain. Adapted to spray oil dispersant, it even takes to water like a duck - pulling its own trailer with an extra chemical supply. Geoff’s love of cars, combined with concern for our environment, has produced a personal contribution to the battle against oil pollution.
