Summary

COI synopsis: This week’s programme is about the detection of hidden objects. Objects hidden under streets, under mountains, even under the human skin. As a treasure hunter searches for Roman coins in the city of London, a surgeon uses sound to pinpoint a constantly shifting iron splinter in a stonemason’s eye. Tracking it this way means a once dangerous operation becomes a simple surgical procedure.
