- Summary
- COI synopsis: Achieving a greater standard of accuracy in analysing objects in motion is a big problem for scientists. This week we look at various new solutions to the problem of pinpointing moving objects. Walking: a simple movement but difficult to analyse scientifically, as doctors treating the recovery of arthritic patients have found. But the use of new sensors which respond to polarised light will now enable doctors to judge the exact state of the patient’s mobility.
