- Summary
- COI synopsis: Improved communications are the axles on which the wheels of progress turn. But in an age of television from the moon, there are still areas on earth where communications fail. This issue examines a few of the communication gaps - and the way they’re being bridged. How can qualified engineers examine the vast under-belly of a super tanker? The answer: with a remotely driven vehicle which runs around underneath sending back detailed television pictures and closing the communication gap.
