Summary
COI synopsis: Improved communications are the axles on which the wheels of progress turn. But in an age of television from the moon, there are still areas on earth where communications fail. This issue examines a few of the communication gaps - and the way they’re being bridged. There’s usually no time to provide firemen with detailed information about a fire: they’re too busy getting there. A definite gap in our communications. Now, even as they’re on their way, a computer supplies them with all the information they need direct to the fire engine cab.
