Summary
COI synopsis: ‘Carrousel Britanico’ goes to Colombia, where the government is carrying out an extensive scheme to stamp out the dreadful disease of yellow fever. As the type of mosquito which passes the disease from person to person breeds in water, teams of "yellow fever men" spray with British chemical oil any place where water can collect. In conjunction with a vaccine that gives protection against the fever for six years, the chemical spraying is having considerable effect in preventing the infection that so often brings death in its wake.
