Summary
COI synopsis: The Farnborough Air Display attracts visitors from all over the world who come to inspect, and to buy, Britain’s latest aircraft. The ‘Belfast’, a long-range strategic freight aircraft, the low-level high speed ‘Buccaneer’, the delta-winged BAC research plane and the ‘VC 10’ passenger jet, now in service between Britain and Latin-America, were among the planes being put through their paces. Crack squadrons of the Royal Air Force also displayed their flying skill with thrilling displays of aerobatics.
