MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Cruft’s Dog Show. DESCRIPTION: Cruft’s Dog Show was held this year, for the first time, at Earls Court. To coincide with this Annual Event the Post Office have issued a set of 4 stamps depicting popular breeds of dogs. Supreme Champion of the Show was a Kerry Blue Terrier named ‘Champion Callaghan of Leander’. SHOTLIST: CU Old English Sheepdog at Cruft’s. CU new set of Post Office dog stamps - 9p Old English Sheepdog, 13p Irish Setter, 10 1/2 p Welsh Springer Spaniel, 11p West Highland Terrier. MCU ditto. MCU dog’s face. MS woman brushing Pekinese. MCU ditto. MCU Yorkshire Terrier with curlers. MS same brushed. MCU ditto. MS Papillon being sprayed and brushed. MS St. Bernard being brushed. MCU Chihuahua being fed out of hand. MS Great Dane leaning over man’s shoulder. MLS ditto. MS small girl hugging Boxer. CU ditto. GV pan Dalmatians being paraded. Various ditto. TS show floor for selection Supreme Champion.
