MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: British Grand Prix. DESCRIPTION: A large crowd gathered at Brands Hatch to watch the world’s top racing drivers compete in the British Grand Prix. The race turned out to be one of the most exciting for years, with the lead changing more than once. The early leader Jody Scheckter pulled out with car trouble and Niki Lauda took the front. Sixteen laps from the finish, Argentinian Carlos Reutemann, driving a Ferrari, snatched the lead and held it until the chequered flag, with Lauda second and John Watson third.
