Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: River Pageant. DESCRIPTION: From Greenwich Her Majesty and Prince Philip begin their tour of the River Thames accompanied by an official fleet of river craft. After lunch aboard the Royal Yacht ‘Britannia’ moored in the Pool of London, and as darkness falls, Her Majesty unveils a plaque to commemorate her River Tour, and then witnesses the largest Firework Display ever to be staged in the heart of London.
