MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Bluebell Railway. DESCRIPTION: Deep in the heart of Sussex countryside exists the Bluebell Line, where the majesty of steam rail is run by amateurs. The Line runs for five miles from Horsted Keynes to Sheffield Park and though threatened with closure in the 1960’s, today its activities are expanding. SHOTLIST: MCU sign "Bluebell Railway". CU picture of old engine. "Blackmore Vale" engine No 21C 123 waiting at Sheffield Park platform. MS man taking photograph. MS front of engine No 21C 123 pull back as it moves out of station past camera. MCU coach going past. MS sign "Horsted Keynes". CU Mr Holden (Director) pull back. MS engine No 488 going past camera. Pan out of Horsted Keynes. MS engine No 30064 in country going past camera to Sheffield Park. CU sign "Sheffield Park". MS men loading coal. Zoom back to see coal going onto engine No 30064. Pan along engine. MLS engine No 21C 123 steaming into Sheffield Park station. MS driver looking out of cab as it comes to a halt. CU sign on engine with crest "Blackmore Vale" West Country Class. MS engine No 21C 123 being filled with water. CU ditto. CU water control being shut off. MS pipe being removed, swung clear. MCU signal. MS front of engine covered in steam. MCU firebox is opened and coal is put in. MCU man looking out of cab. MS train coming towards camera on way to Horsted Keynes, it goes underneath camera. CU coal being put into fire. Pan to see fireman shovelling coal. CU fire box is opened and coal put in. MS travelling in train as it goes into Horsted Keynes station. CU sign "Horsted Keynes". MS train arriving at platform.
