MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Horse of the Year Show. DESCRIPTION: Horse of the Year Show, held at Wembley. Anne Moore and David Broome joint winners of the Butlin Cup Event, their time 29.4 seconds. SHOTLIST: GV Butlin Championship in progress. SV Ann Moore riding "Psalm" clear round, SV pan as she clears the last fence in total time 29.4 seconds. SV crowd applauding. SV Miss Caroline Bradley on "True Lass" jumping fence. FV Miss Bradley jumps fence pan as she clears two others. CU crowd watching. SV pan as Caroline Bradley jumps wall fence and knocks bricks out (4 faults), she jumps the last fence in a total time of 31.1 secs. SV crowd watching. LV pan David Broome riding "Sportsman", jumping fence to start clear round. FV Broome clearing fence pan as he clears 2 other fences. CU man in crowd. SV pan as Broome clears the last two fences for a clear round on 29.4 secs (ties with Moore). GV A Schockemohle riding "Weiler" from Germany, he jumps fence and knocks it completely down, retires from contest. LV Harvey Smith riding "Salvador" - he jumps fence at 165 knocking a pole down losing 4 faults, pan as he completes round in fastest time 27.7 secs. GV zoom in and pan as Eddie Macken riding "Easter Parade" from Ireland jumps fences. LV ditto, he jumps and knocks a pole down losing 4 points, but he retires. SV crowd applaud. SV Sir Geoffrey Baker presents trophy to joint winners, Moore & Broome.
