Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Bomber Car Trials. DESCRIPTION: A pleasant way of getting rid of your old car. These old bombers crash around the track to the enjoyment of spectators and the scrap metal merchants. SHOTLIST: GV cars round track for a rolling start. GV crowd watching. MLS flag-man flagging cars to start race after a rolling start. GV cars going round track. MCU ditto but two cars hit metal drum as turning corner. GVB cars racing round track. SS cars race round track, car No 58 gets rammed into fence at side of track. GV cars racing round track pan to MCU cars pile up at side of track. GV cars racing round track, some cars doing broadsides & smashing into each other like bumper cars at a fair. GV pan car going along all smashed up with bonnet up. GV cars racing round track. GV pan ditto as car No T53 screeches round track with bonnet up. GV pan as cars No 421 & 260 crash into each other. GV cars spinning round track a then at 141’ camera zoom into cars which are smashed up on side of track, one car which is one on right side of picture, on its roof. MLS car No 82 broadsides backwards. GV cars piling up and crashing into each other. MCU car No T53 racing round track with its bonnet still up. GV cars racing towards home. MLS car going all over the track. GV cars racing towards home.
