Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sealed Knot Re-Enactment. DESCRIPTION: Jersey and the Sealed Knot Society, stage a re-enactment. Street fighting between duellists and soldiers. SHOTLIST: CU man playing drum zoom out & up to face. SV men dressed in Charles II 1649 type clothes walk out of crowd into square. CU girl’s face. 2 CUs another girl’s face, little boy wearing Viking helmet. 4 SVs 3 men playing trumpets, boy and man walk under two spears, people watching, dressed in Charles II 1649 type clothes reading from scroll. CU girl starts attacking man reading from scroll zoom out she is taken off stand & is taken away by guards. CU man reading scroll with women standing on his left. CU girl talking to man pan to man talking to girl, SV man struggling with guard. SV children watching, SV girl’s hands tied, SV girls tied to rake being whipped pan to girl being held whilst she is being whipped, SV ditto whipping stops, she is carried away. SV two sides fighting down street. SV BV both sides fighting. SV man lying ‘dead’ on pavement pan to CU man. SV side shot both sides sword fighting, two men capture one of sword fighters and hold him to ground with spear across his chest, pan to ‘dead’ man on pavement. SV man being carried away. SV man lying ‘dead’ on ground pan up to another man being punched. CU man in gallows. SV man reading out scroll. SV man lying ‘dead’ on ground.
