- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Women’s News. DESCRIPTION: Women’s Lib in various forms. Women police officers are taking over car patrol duty in London. In Romania, the police there on point duty are a whole lot prettier than the ones we see here. But in feminine France, the girls there, too, have come crashing into the man’s world - a Rugby match no less! But in the world of fashion, it is still almost a woman’s world, especially in the 72/73 Paris fashion show. And woman are getting the jump on men as they eagerly throw themselves from planes to qualify as parachutists. SHOTLIST: CU policewoman Sheila Bainbridge, pan to Eve Walker.
