- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Olympic Flame. DESCRIPTION: Once again the Olympic torch is lit. In the ruined Temple of Zeus on Mount Olympus, every four years, when the Olympics are held, the torch is lit and carried to the Games. It’ll take a whole relay of runners, carrying the torch for 29 days. SHOTLIST: SV sign Olympia. GV crowds watching. LV kindling ceremony with high priestess (actress Maria Moscholiou) at altar of Zeus. SCU concave magnifying mirror for lighting torch. LV priestess kneels to light torch. SV ditto zoom back to GV as torch lights and she holds it up. GV crowds watching, pan to priestesses. LV pan runner arrives to take torch. LV as runner takes torch from high priestess and turns round slowly with torch held in air, pull back to GV pan as he runs off with torch.
