Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Model Planes. DESCRIPTION: Weighing no more than a gram each, elastic powered model planes were flown many hundreds of feet below ground in a salt mine. At this depth there are no currents of air to disturb the flight. SHOTLIST: SV competitors entering salt mines in Romania, SV as they get into lift. SV lift goes up with load of competitors. GV competitors walk into large cavern. SV men preparing model planes. SV other men preparing planes, one winding up elastic. LV competitor launches plane and it flies slowly away. SV another competitor launches model, pan with plane as it flies around cavern. SCU another plane launched. LVB plane flying slowly round cavern. GV another model lunched. CU angle shot plane flies overhead. SCU another plane launched, pull back as it flies across cavern, zoom in to CU.
