Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Little Train. DESCRIPTION: In Albi, France, a railway network comprising of deadly accurate scale models of French steam engines. Monsieur Gordes has takes 27 years to build this fantastically realistic railway, and taken some 9,000 hours to make one engine. SHOTLIST: GV cathedral, model train standing in fore ground. SCU train comes round bend past camera. CU panel train wheels, pan stops and train goes past at speed. SLV people watching train over bridge. SV two trains in depot, one going round on turn table. SV Mr Gordes stoking engine boiler at depot. SCU as he swings water pipe over to fill tank. CTV water pouring into tank. SV engine and tender moving up to refuel with coal from overhead chute. CU coal pouring in to tender. SV 2 engines at depot, one being prepared for run. CU Mr Gordes opening valve on side of engine. SV train with steam up waiting at depot. CU wheels of engine as it prepares to start. SCU Gordes. LV train pulls back away from station and train along track. CU train wheels as it speeds along track. CU train blows whistle as it stars over bridge. SCU train over bridge (whistle). LV train running through trees (whistle blowing). SCU train enters tunnel. LV pan as it runs past scale building & trees. SCU towards train round bend. TV train running along embankment.
