MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Power Cuts. DESCRIPTION: Power cuts are having far reaching effects on Industry and Home. It’s estimated that 20 million people will have their work affected. There could be massive lay-offs. At present miners have rejected Management’s pay offer. The Government has set up a Court of Inquiry. In the meantime, the country waits...in the dark. SHOTLIST: CU candles being lit. CU another candle being lit. CU oil lamp being lit. GV Battersea Power Station. CU newspaper placard Millions Laid Off By Power Cuts. CU placard Power Cuts Details.
