- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Naval Fleet Manoeuvres. DESCRIPTION: The Royal Navy in it’s latest exercise - Operation Lymelight - 30 miles off the Dorset Coast. The manoeuvres involved six ships, five types of aircraft and 3,500 officers and men. SHOTLIST: GV helicopter flying over destroyer at sea shot from ‘copter approaching aircraft carrier Ark Royal. SV zoom back to GV planes on deck of carrier. CU Captain Roberts looking out to sea. GV two destroyers steaming near by. SV planes on deck being prepared. CU line of bombs on deck. SV wheeling large rocket on trolley to plane. CU pan rocket being pushed under hinge of plane. SV lifting bomb into position. CU man. CU rocket in position. GV rocket takes off from end of carrier. SV ‘copter hovering alongside. SV zoom back to GV planes preparing to take off. SV plane warming up for take off. CU exhaust. SV OK to take off. SV pan plane takes off. AS pan plane goes over firing rockets. SV explosion in water alongside carrier. AS plane fires rockets. SV line of rocket fire in water back to GV of explosion near carrier.
