Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Rugby League Cup Final. DESCRIPTION: It must have been the most sensational Rugby League Cup Final in history. Mid-way through the second half, Leeds Captain Syd Hynes is ordered off the ground by the referee after an incident in which Leeds skipper Alex Murphy was knocked to the ground unconscious. The final score Leigh 24 - Leeds 7. SHOTLIST: TV teams onto field. SV pan Leigh’s mascot Gary Ashcroft son of Leigh player Kevin, pan back to rest of players. GV Leigh and Leeds supporters.
