Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Fire Extinguishers. DESCRIPTION: The latest in fire extinguishers for industry and the home. A unique automatic fire escape is also featured. SHOTLIST: LV demonstrator dousing fire using a 2 gallon water extinguisher. CU demonstrator pan down to water out of nozzle. SV fire nearly out. CU spraying water onto fire. 3 scenes - demonstrator putting out petrol fire in buckets using a vaporising liquid extinguisher. LV another fire in a tray. CU hand pushes trigger on the extinguisher. SV pan demonstrator puts petrol fire out with chemical powder, man walks forward to relight petrol fire & demonstrator then puts it out. SV people watching. Large strip petrol fire burning. SV people watching. LV as man runs along putting petrol fire out. Angle shot man leaning out of window opens up new automatic fire escape ladder from wall. LV ditto as he opens ladder out. SV 2 women looking up. LV man climbs down ladder. SV men watching. SV man on ground now closes up ladder into place on wall.
