MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Liverpool V Everton. DESCRIPTION: In a hard and furious game Liverpool down Everton two-one to earn a place in the FA Cup Final for the fourth time. A crowd of over 62,000 watched the game - one of the most compelling semi-finals for many years. SHOTLIST: SV teams out of tunnel. TV teams onto field. GV crowd waving scarves. LV pan Everton kick off R to L. GS Everton centre goes over bar. SCU spectators. LV pan Everton attack. GS ball is put across goalmouth by Alan Ball. GV pan players congratulating. GV crowd. Pan Liverpool attack Everton but just a good save, manage to scramble away from goal. GV pan Liverpool attack. GV goal disallowed, zoom back pan players as they argue. LV pan rough play - Everton attack. LV pan Liverpool attack. GV 2 shots mid-field play (rough tackle). LV pan No 9 (holds leg) - foul. LV Liverpool attack. LV sub No 12 injured Brian Labone off (replaced by Sandy Brown). GS pan Liverpool attack, Everton player heads off goal line, Everton. LV pan Liverpool attack again. GN No 8 Alun Evans scores zoom out crowd applaud. LV congratulated. AV crowd waving arms. GS pan Liverpool No 8 beats defenders to put ball across, pan as ball comes to goalkeeper who punches it clear, but No 11 Ball scores Liverpool’s second goal. Pan with referee as he allows goal and Liverpool players rejoice. GV crowd cheer. GV pan Liverpool attack Everton scores. GV referee blows whistle, players stop running. GV police tussle crowd attempting to invade pitch. LV crowd on pitch. FV zoom back supporters surround players.
