MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Rugby Union Centenary. DESCRIPTION: A hundred years ago the Rugby Football Union was formed by 100 clubs at the old Pall Mall Restaurant in Cockspur Street. The centenary’s marked by the unveiling of a plaque on the site - and the appearance of a very old fashioned looking player. SHOTLIST: CU Cockspur Street sign. GV Barclay’s Bank. CU sign ‘RFU 1871 - 1971’. CU rugby ball pan up to Sir William Ramsay, President RFU.
