Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Model Aircraft. DESCRIPTION: Model Aircraft flying championships, but this isn’t kid’s stuff. Perfect models of aircraft ancient and modern go through a series of radio-controlled aerobatics. SHOTLIST: SV model Stuka ready for take off. TV ditto - owner picks up plane. SCU Beagle Pup on ground, model pilot in Japanese Zero on ground, SV model aeroplane on ground, owner opens cockpit. SCU door opened revealing interior and controls. 2 SVs pan 2 shots Stuka takes off, Stuka’s owner at remote controls. Ground to Air Stuka in flight. GV judges, pan Stuka lands & tips onto nose. Ground to Air pan Perceval Proctor in flight owned by world champion R Yates, SCU Yates at controls, Ground to Air Perceval Proctor in flight, SCU Yates at controls. Ground to Air pan Perceval Proctor lands, SV pan aeroplane fighter takes off & immediately crashes, GV R Brown & woman make final adjustments to bi-plane. SCU propeller started by finger. GV bi-plane takes off. SCU judges. Ground to air bi-plane doing aerobatics, GV R Brown at controls. LS pan bi-plane comes in for perfect landing.
