- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: In the Swim. DESCRIPTION: A decorated swimming pool on Waterloo Station will be a refreshing sight for travellers. In France, babies from six months old are taught to adapt themselves underwater - psychologists say it builds their confidence. Swedish racehorses are provided with a heated swimming pool in the stables - to keep fit in the hard winter; and from Poland a brilliant comedy diving team entertain a young audience. SCU baby and father in water. SV (underwater) baby and father submerge. Horses Swimming Pool - Sweden 54’ SV horse swimming in narrow pool. GV pan man leading horse through pool. LV horse led toward and past through pool. SV hot air dryer. SCU horse being rubbed down. Comedy Diving Team - Poland 46’ TV clown with broom falls from diving board. CU children laugh. LV man jumping on diving board - other runs under feet and dives. TV rest of men follow. LAV pan as men dive from board - man’s trousers remains pinned to board. LV men embrace as they dive. LV pan down man on bike rides off edge of board.
