Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Age of Waste. DESCRIPTION: We live in a disposal society - producing fifty thousand tons of rubbish a day. Trashpak has been developed to level and compress the vast acreages of rubbish tips so that they can be reclaimed for recreation. SHOTLIST: MS piece of old scrap metal which was once a car. MS pan down lorry tips rubbish onto floor. MCU wheels of machine that levels out and compresses rubbish. MS machine in action pushing rubbish in a bulldozer like way. 2 shots ditto. MS remains of the shell of an old Ford Popular car. MS man at controls of driving cab of machine. 2 MS machine running over and completely shattering old Ford Popular. GV gigantic wheels on machine. MS machine pushing rubbish into pit.
