Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Eyes That Accuse. DESCRIPTION: On the eve of Mr Wilson’s proposed peace mission to Nigeria, we fly to the neighbouring Republic of Gabon where a French hospital is trying to save the lives of a pitiful handful of refugee children from Biafra. In vivid contrast to the pictures that follow, the starving victims of Biafra are a terrible comment on our inability to solve the problems of our own planet - while spending millions on the exploration of space. Nevertheless, the Apollo programme has been a triumph ... SHOTLIST: MS two undernourished Biafran children. CU Biafran child.
