MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Vaguely Noble Triumph. DESCRIPTION: A name to be reckoned with, the British-bred Vaguely Noble, bought by American Robert Franklyn for a record price ten months ago. Since then he’s won almost a hundred thousand pounds, and his win in the Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe, beating Lester Piggott on Sir Ivor, makes his the wonder horse of the year. But it’s retirement for one of our greatest Steeplechasers. The great Arkle - is to remain in County Kildare, never to race again. SHOTLIST: GV pan start of Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe race in Paris.
