Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Getting It Off the Ground. DESCRIPTION: A demonstration flight of the BN2 Islander, built at Bembridge, Isle of Wight by John Britten and Desmond Norman. It’s a ten seater short haul aircraft which will sell overseas for 17 1/2 thousand pounds. It can carry passengers for up to 500 miles for only 3d a mile. SHOTLIST: GV aircraft pushed from hangar. MLS ditto. MS pilot into cockpit. MCU propeller turning. MLS pan aircraft taxiing. GV pan take off. MCU man watching from ground. GV pan aircraft flies low over airfield. MCU man watching.
