Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Getting It Off the Ground. DESCRIPTION: A demonstration flight of the BN2 Islander, built at Bembridge, Isle of Wight by John Britten and Desmond Norman. It’s a ten seater short haul aircraft which will sell overseas for 17 1/2 thousand pounds. It can carry passengers for up to 500 miles for only 3d a mile. SHOTLIST: GV aircraft pushed from hangar.
