- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Alpine Landslide. DESCRIPTION: A whole chunk of the Schoenfeldalpe broke away from the mountain. It thundered down the Thiersee Valley near the Austrian-German border. Six hundred people escaped from their homes thanks to an early alarm. SHOTLIST: A huge chunk of the Schoenfeldalpe had broken away. It thunders down the valley carrying everything in its path. Filling the bed of a river - the valley is threatened by flooding. 600 people escape from their homes, thanks to an early alarm. Scenes. LS pan valley. Piles of wood and debris.
