MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Tsr2. DESCRIPTION: Britain’s new tactical strike and reconnaissance aircraft, the TSR2, made its maiden flight at Boscombe Down in Wiltshire. With a Canberra and a Lightning escorting it, the 15 minute flight brought an end to 3 months of postponements. TSR2 is designed to fly at hedge hopping height below enemy radar, faster than the speed of sound. It can also fly high and carry both nuclear or conventional weapons. SHOTLIST: Key scene.
