Summary

DESCRIPTION: Despite numerous setbacks, including severe injury in 1960, rain, floods and high winds, Donald Campbell in Bluebird, achieved 2 runs of 403 miles an hour on Lake Eyre. Although not as fast as he’d hoped, it is a fine reward to the 43 year old speed ace and the faith of his backers. SHOTLIST: Key scene. MS John Cobb in his record breaking car. LS pan same in run.
