MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Awards for Youth. DESCRIPTION: The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme proves that the life of modern youth is not all pop music and long hair. He recently presented Gold Awards to 127 girls and over 750 boys. The presentation took place in the garden of Buckingham Palace. To earn these awards they’ve got to shine in hobbies and special interests, take part in expeditions and prove themselves in six months voluntary service in the community. SHOTLIST: Key scene.
