- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Mid-Air Collision. DESCRIPTION: Two US Air Force planes with medical teams aboard set off over the Atlantic to practice parachute rescue in preparation for the Gemini Space Programme. But two miles off Bermuda, their wing tips touched. The planes exploded, and plunged into the sea, killing seventeen. SHOTLIST: Key scene. MLS pan US plane takes off. LAS plane flies overhead.
