Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Motoring Mudlarks!. DESCRIPTION: There were twenty-one cars at the RAC Motor Trials in Kent the other day, with the cream of the teams to handle them. Twenty hills to climb - Twenty sections on which to show their skill in defying the law of gravity. Rex Chappell who won the previous 2 years was the winner again. SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV competitors before trials. CU bonnet lifted off. CU engine checked. MCU man checks tyre pressure. CU same. GV 1st car off. MS pan - car up slope. MCU car slides back downhill. GV car around course (6 shots). MS mechanic inspects car. GV car around course (6 shots). GV car gets stuck uphill. CU two spectators. CU back wheels of car spinning. MS pan - the winner Rex Chappell around course. MS pan - same. These were the RAC Trials.
