MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Chuting Stars!. DESCRIPTION: At last man can fly. The US Navy’s Chuting Stars, sky-diving 2 miles over their base in California. Difficult to realise these men are falling like stones. So’s the cameraman for that matter. By moving their arms and legs, they can manoeuvre just like aeroplanes. SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV US Navy’s Chuting Stars from plane. Men flying in mid-air (2 shots). Men handing over baton in mid-air (2 shots). MS man flying. MS man loop-the-loop. These are free falling activities carried out by the US Navy’s Chuting Stars over El Toro Marine Corps Air Station.
