Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Is Every Donkey An Ass?. DESCRIPTION: Three and a half months old Silver, making the most of gracious living at his owner’s home in Middlesex. Silver caught a severe chill when buried in deep snow, but Mr Ron Brewer prescribed a brandy and milk treatment. To prove still further that a donkey isn’t necessarily an ass, some Roman painters gave one of the breed its head - or rather its tail - and encouraged it to fulfill its artistic yearnings.
