MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Flour V Soot. DESCRIPTION: One of the sporting events over the holiday began with a procession at Waltham Cross and a collection for an Old Peoples’ Charity. It was the prelude to a slapstick football match between the Bakers and the Sweeps, which has been held for over a half a century. SHOTLIST: Key scene. MS poster on the back of person Baker V Sweeps. LS bakers and sweeps walking along some carrying posters. Various shots of same - some with big hats on. MS man in fireman’s hat collecting money at house door.
